Uncompromised...

(This is the second original that we performed at our convocation ceremony... It started in my mind with a Staccato rhythm much like the way we take a look back with our each step when we are leaving someone very dear to us....)

Too many thoughts

In my mind

Keep me awake

All night.

I don't sleep

Anymore

To keep my dreams

In my sight

Though you think that i’m

Going farther away from you.

Its so sad that you think

My love for you is untrue.

You don't believe me anymore,

Yet i am knockin your door.

Though i lie to this world

My love for you is pure.

I’ll hold on as you leave,

My soul you did thieve,

Yes i believe you will return

When you realise

My love for you remains uncompromised.

As i hold on,

You slip away,

I don’t regret this,

In any way.

I smile silently,

On my fate.

Too much time for me,

To hate..

Though you think that my,

Relationships don’t go through.

Its so sad that you think

My love for you is untrue.

You dont believe me anymore,

Yet i am knockin your door.

Though i lie to this world

My love for you is pure.

I’ll hold on as you leave,

My soul you did thieve,

Yes i believe you will return

When you realise

My love for you remains uncompromised.

  4. aw.. sad but sweet.. really i wonder how you thought of such a poem!!!..of course there are some depths in everyone's mind that others can't reach..not even close friends.. but i wd like to believe that u didn't actually have to go through something bad as said in this poem to derive the inspiration for the poem :( ..but sweet poem as i earlier said..nice one :)
