Everyday is new,

But the thoughts are old.

All the things that we threw,

Have turned themselves to gold.

All the dreams that we drew,

Were true enough then.

And all the thoughts that we said

Till now...

Untrue,

All the happiness I felt,

Has raised enough dust,

And I’ve dug my own grave.

Through you,

I thought I would reach there,

Where my heart lays,

My hope is on a verge of extinction!

Every night I sleep,

And hope to dream it all.

All the rows that we had,

And the fights that couldn’t solve,

Nor get the things that we hoped,

For love to fetch them all,

We tried to search that/a reason,

Till now…

(This is the second original that we performed at our convocation ceremony... It started in my mind with a Staccato rhythm much like the way we take a look back with our each step when we are leaving someone very dear to us....)
